What does a chef do in a hotel?

Sous-chef (Sous-chef)

Serving as the chef's right hand, the sous chef coordinates the kitchen. Supervises the preparation of dishes, fulfills orders and assists the chef.

 

Gard Manager Chef

The head chef is responsible for preparing cold dishes and appetizers. He is an expert in cold dishes such as salads, appetizers, charcuterie (foods such as sausage and ham).

 

Chef de Parti (station cook)

These are chef positions specializing in a specific culinary section (for example, hot dishes, desserts, grilling). Each department is headed by a chef, and these chefs prepare specific dishes or sections.

 

Confectioner
